Welcome to Lytehouse Bloodhounds. We are the Lytle family and are located in South Jordan, UT outside of Salt Lake City. We are dedicated to the health, wellness, and betterment of the breed. We acquired our first bloodhound from Sherry & Dick Duling of Sherick's Bloodhounds in 2002 and have been hooked ever since. The Duling's have proven to be wonderful mentors and friends and we are dedicated to them, their wonderful dogs and breeding program. We are not breeders, but enthusiasts. We love training, and competing with our hounds in conformation, rally, tracking and someday in other areas of obedience. Our dogs are a big part of our family and have free run of our yard and supervised run of the house, and they all sleep and eat indoors in crates. We are members of the American Bloodhound Club and of The Great Salt Lake Dog Training Club.
